STEVENS STEPS IN FOR RACING TEAM TURKEY AT SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS

Racing Team Turkey adds another notable name to their European Le Mans Series roster, as Will Stevens replaces Jack Aitken at the penultimate round of the 2022 ELMS, in Spa-Francorchamps this weekend. Stevens competes in the LMP2 category of the WEC, where he stood on the podium in Fuji last weekend and is currently in his fourth year as an Official McLaren F1 Test & Development Driver. Yoluç, Eastwood and Aitken currently lead the LMP2 Pro Am championship by 10 points over Nielsen Racing and with only two four-hours races remaining in the season, they will be doing their all to score as many points as possible at both rounds. Aitken had always been set to miss the round in Belgium due to other commitments, and will rejoin Yoluç and Eastwood to help them fight for the Pro Am championship title at Portimão next month. The penultimate round of the 2022 European Le Mans Series will take place on September 25. The 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will be streamed live and for free on the ELMS YouTube channel.
Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director - "It's great to have Will with us in Spa. His knowledge of the car will be a great asset to the team as we fight for the championship. We have known Will for some time now and I'm really pleased to finally have him in one of our line ups!"
Will Stevens, Platinum Driver - "Really looking forward to racing at Spa with Salih and Charlie and everyone at TF Sport. It's a team I've known for a long time being around the ELMS and WEC paddocks and will be awesome to race for them at Spa. I know everyone is pushing hard to continue their charge for the Pro Am championship and I'll give it my all to help them on their way to hopefully achieving that. Can't wait!"
