Bronze drivers Ahmad Al Harthy and Giacomo Petrobelli, who will enter the Pro Am class, are set to be joined by Aston Martin factory pro driver, Charlie Eastwood, for this weekend’s three-hour Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS race at the Nürburgring, Germany.

Al Harthy and Eastwood stormed a lights-to-flag victory earlier this month, at the British GT Championship’s Snetterton 300. Whilst Petrobelli and Eastwood narrowly missed out on podium success at the British GT’s blue riband event, the Silverstone 500 back in June.

The TF Sport-run #97 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 won the 2019 Pro Am championship, previously known as the Blancpain Endurance Championship, at the hands of Al Harthy and Eastwood. Now joined by Petrobelli, the team will be aiming to take the top step of the podium at this weekend’s guest appearance.

The fourth round of the 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup takes place at the Nürburgring, Germany, on September 5,

Tom Ferrier, Team Owner - “It’s great to extend Oman Racing by TF Sport’s guest races into the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup. Both Ahmad and Giacomo have had strong showings with Charlie in the Vantage GT3 and I’m really excited to see what they can achieve as a trio!”

Ahmad Al Harthy, Bronze driver - “I’m really looking forward to coming back to the championship previously known as Blancpain, where we had so much success and such great achievements in the past. I’m also looking forward to coming back into GT World Challenge Europe Endurance with our fantastic new look and livery and, of course, our wonderful new partnerships.”
