Sam De Haan is set to make his Aston Martin Vantage GT3 debut with TF Sport and Aston Martin factory driver Charlie Eastwood, in the International GT Open at Red Bull Ring, Austria, next week.

De Haan and Eastwood will enter the fiercely competitive Pro class, in which TF Sport and Eastwood claimed multiple victories and podium finishes, alongside 2020 Le Mans winner Salih Yoluc, last year.

GT Open’s 2020 vice-champions, TF Sport, enjoyed a successful trip to Austria last season, with a stellar lights-to-flag victory with Yoluc and Eastwood, and the crew will be looking to repeat this performance.

This will be the second of TF Sport’s 2021 guest appearances in the championship, with the third taking place at the season finale in Barcelona, as Michael Dinan and Robby Foley make their return.

The Red Bull Ring will host the International GT Open double header on September 11-12. Both races will be streamed live on the championship’s YouTube channel.

Tom Ferrier, Team Owner - “It’s great to have Sam onboard with us. He has proven himself to be a very strong contender in multiple GT3 marques and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can achieve alongside Charlie in our Vantage GT3!”

Sam De Haan, Silver Driver - "I cannot wait to be back at the Red Bull Ring, and I am really excited by the prospect of racing the Vantage GT3 with TF Sport. I am confident that with Charlie and the whole team that we can get a strong result. They have achieved a huge amount with Aston Martin over the past few seasons, and I have raced against them, so I know how competitive they are, so it is great to be part of the team for this weekend.”

Charlie Eastwood, Gold Driver - “After our successes last year, I can’t wait to get back to the International GT Open. I’m really looking forward to competing in the championship with Sam, as I believe together we’re a very strong line-up and my sights are set on two podium finishes with him!”
