TF Sport is delighted to announce the return of British GT ace, Derek Johnston, for the first round of the championship in late April.

Having retired from full-time racing at the end of last year after four successful seasons with TF Sport including the 2016 driver’s crown, Johnston is set to make his homecoming in the #17 at Oulton Park on 20 April. His team-mate will be announced shortly.

Oulton will also mark the return of the Aston Martin Vantage V12 to British soil alongside the newer V8 version.

“It’s great to have Derek back with us for a one-off appearance in British GT,” said TF Sport Director, Tom Ferrier, “he was with us for a while and we have good memories, it would be nice to see him back on the podium in our colours.”

“I’m very excited to have done a last-minute deal to go racing in British GP with TF Sport and Aston Martin Racing,” said Johnston, “I’m looking forward to getting back in the car and on the podium.”

The 2019 British GT Championship will kick off in Easter at Oulton Park, where TF Sport will be fielding an impressive 5 car line-up. For more information on the event – Click here – to join the event.
