2017 Pro-AM Champion Ahmad Al Harthy returned to the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2019, competing in the Endurance Cup alongside Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood.
Following a spell in single seaters, Ahmad competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup in the UK in 2010, taking the Pro-Am crown in 2012. A move to the British GT Championship followed before he joined TF Sport to compete in both Blancpain Endurance Cup and the Road to Le Mans, claiming the title and double race victory in both categories respectively in 2017.
The 2018 campaign in the Endurance Cup yielded plenty of pace, but the potential was left unfulfilled. Ahmad’s next challenge was the end of year Gulf 12H race in Abu Dhabi where he teamed up with Jonny and Darren, finishing a strong fourth on the debut of the next generation Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
The 2019 campaign got off to a strong start with pole position and podium position at Monza, despite the misfortune of sustaining two punctures. A promising season ahead.
