2017 Pro-AM Champion Ahmad Al Harthy returned to the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2018, competing in the Silver Cup alongside teammates Charlie Eastwood and Euan McKay.
Following a spell in single seaters, Ahmad competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup in the UK in 2010, taking the Pro-Am crown in 2012. A move to the British GT Championship followed before he joined TF Sport to compete in both Blancpain Endurance Cup and the Road to Le Mans, claiming the title and double race victory in both categories respectively in 2017.
The 2018 campaign in the Endurance Cup yielded plenty of pace, but the potential was left unfulfilled. Ahmad’s next challenge is the end of year Gulf 12H race in Abu Dhabi where he teams up with Jonny and Darren, recreating the line-up that took him to the Abu Dhabi podium in 2015.
