Tomonobu has participated in the Super Taikyu race, along with the Super GT in Japan for many years, winning various championships along the way and went on to take victories as a Nissan development driver in 2010. The Japanese Pro continued his winners-streak through 2011 in an Audi R8 LMS GT3.
Fujii also has extensive experience in overseas races, mainly participating in craft racing in Hong Kong with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. He has participated in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, Asian Le Mans, Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race, and the Dubai 24H race, where he achieved 3rd place in 2013.
